Traditions at Chevy Chase is excited to be the host of your upcoming golf event. Our professional staff is eager to serve you to ensure that the details of your event are handled with ease. Be assured that your experience at Traditions at Chevy Chase will be a memorable one. The following items are important reminders about hosting an event at Traditions at Chevy Chase.

Event Booking Procedure
Once a date has been confirmed, a formal contract will be sent to you and a deposit will be required. The signed contract must accompany the deposit to reserve the date and both must be received 60 days before the event. The deposit will be applied toward the final bill.

Cancellation Policy
The golf event may be canceled up to 60 days before the event without penalty. The deposit is non-refundable, if cancellation occurs less than 60 days before the event. Golf Events cancelled within a 72 hour period of the event will be assessed full price on all perishables.

Are there any other charges I should know about?
A 7.0% sales tax and a 19.5% service charge is added to all food and beverage prices unless a tax exempt letter is provided prior to, or at the time of your event.

Golf Rules and Regulations
Traditions at Chevy Chase is a spikeless facility. Traditions staff will replace metal spiked shoes with non-metal spikes for a nominal charge.

Event organizers are responsible for notifying and ensuring that all event participants adhere to the Traditions dress code. Shirts must have collars, shorts must be Bermuda length, no net style or tee shirts, no halter tops. Traditions reserves the right to refuse play to improperly attired guests.

Event Planning Timeline

• 60 Days Prior to Event ~ Golf contract and deposit due
• 30 Days Prior to Event ~ Final menu due
• 9 Days Prior to Event ~ Final count due for number of golfers, food and beverage
• 3 Days Prior to Event ~ Final pairings due

Pairings and Scoring
Your pairings are due to the Golf Event Coordinator 3 days prior to the event. The Golf Event Coordinator will place the groups appropriately on the golf course. Cart signs, scorecards, GPS programming, and pairing sheets will also be produced by the Golf Event Coordinator based on the pairings you provide. We understand there are last minute changes and the Golf Event Coordinator will make sure these are all handled the day of the event.

The Golf Event Coordinator will work with you to choose the format for your event that is the most appropriate. Our staff will do all of the scoring for the event based on the format you choose. Scoreboards will be posted during the social hour and dinner, a full list of winners will be presented to you for your awards ceremony.

GPS Programming
All of Traditions at Chevy Chase's golf carts are equipped with state of the art GPS Systems. They not only show you key distances on the golf course, but can also be programmed with your event name, player names, and have a live scoring option. The live leaderboard is updated after every hole, and shows your guest the scores of all other groups in the event. A fun feature that all your guests will enjoy.

Registration
The Golf Event Coordinator will help you select the ideal location for your registration area and will make sure it is set up upon your arrival.

Golf Instruction / Clinics
Give your group the opportunity to learn more about the game. Work on putting, chipping, or driving with the Pros at Traditions. See the Golf Event Coordinator for more details.

Putting Contests
Set up a 1-5 hole putting course, a long putt, or other putting contest formats.

Beat the Pro / Buy the Pro
Give each member of your group an opportunity to get closer to the hole than a member of our professional staff on a par 3, or to buy our professional's drive on a long par 5. This is a great way to generate more money for your charity golf event. Rate ~ $150 per professional.

Hole Contests
Closest to the pin, longest drive, straightest drive, longest putt, etc... can be arranged with our Golf Event Coordinator who will assist in picking the best holes for each contest. Hole in One contests may also be arranged. Please ask the Golf Event Coordinator about Hole in One packages which include cars, signage, and insurance.

Rental Clubs
Traditions at Chevy Chase has Titleist rental clubs available. Advanced reservations for rental clubs are needed. Rental clubs are $30.00 per set.

Special Order Merchandise
Order shirts, wind shirts, jackets or other merchandise options with your company's logo and/or the Traditions logo.

Photography
Please ask the Golf Event Coordinator for a list of photographers for your event. Pictures on the golf course of each foursome make a nice gift.

Outdoor Water Park
Any non-golfers you would like to invite? Guests can enjoy our outdoor water park. Spend the day at the water park then invite them to the golf course for dinner. Contact the Event Coordinator for more details.

Ice Sculptures / Specialty Cakes
After the event, take one last opportunity to provide a lasting impression. Logo ice sculptures and specialty cakes provide a unique and memorable visual accent to your reception.
